instant updates check out entries Monday, September 21, 2009 i seldom write about my daily activities, but i thought this is one of the most worthy moments i should pen down. i am glad i decided to take a long break this holidays to do the things i could not do previously- to meet up all my friends! its includes meeting old times friends and new people, of course more reserved for the old ones. one worth remembering would be a simple dinner with zac and timothy. zac and i have been friends for 6 years, and we never fail to impress people how we started becoming pals. i knew him as pin pin until later he decided to give himself the name zac. i eventually got used to call him both. this is our first time meeting after a year. its not an excuse, we are simply too busy with our own life. NS did a BIG favor for him i bet! pin pin was fat but zac is freaking skinny. i began to miss his fleshy cheeks so so much! i remembered him as a very tall person... did he shirk or i grew taller? now my new friend, timothy. he has huge round eyes and a great smile! i never thought we were click off so well! we had fried sliced fish bee hoon- its simply delicious! one of the best i had so far. the flesh so tender, the soup fresh and sweet! and we top it up with countless updates and discussion. best of all, both timothy and i are common in two ways.. we love YAMI yogurt! there is no one, like NO ONE i can share my crave for YAMI yogurt! (the closest was aik hao with his short lived interest for it) tim and i were jumping and exclaiming in front of the store?! we love shopping at guradian and wastons? i confessed that i was called as auntie for it, in fact NTUC and carrefour are my top favourites! tim is amazing, he knows so much about health and wellness! i guess i have it all penned down. i enjoyed talking to zac, its like the good old times, but now we are older and wiser. after sharing with him about my biggest worry, he gave me a new direction and i feel so enlightened. it is not cool to be graduating in less than 6 months time. the guys have two long years in NS to think about it, while we girls are left to make the biggest decision in life. the workforce seems to be a better option for me, now. 
Saturday, September 5, 2009 it was more than an usual route home tonight. i hopped onto a double decked bus, with a mother of two daughter followed behind me, where i overheard there conversation "mummy, are we are to the upper deck?" "yes, we are." "mummy, why do we always go up when we are on a double deck bus?" "... ..." i like that question! notice one thing- she said upper deck, not upstairs! i saw a double seat empty and i gave up for the girls. i believe little kids do not like to sit with strangers. i took the seat on their left instead. my attention was on the elder daughter throughout the ride. it all started with that skirt she wore. it was obviously a school skirt in dark green. the color was very familiar to me. she was obediently reading her story book... and then i saw her socks printed with letters V-C-K. on a closer look, it was Y-C-K! the dark green skirt and initials all made sense! the little girl was from the same primary school i attended! it surely took me a long while to realise that. it was a pleasure to meet a junior once in a while, she reminds me of school, especially the delicious nasi padang every thrusday! one thing for sure, we didnt have that kind of socks those days. i had the urge to ask her about school and the teachers... now i sound like a crazy woman. kids should not talk to strangers even though they can be as nice as me!
