instant updates check out entries Wednesday, December 17, 2008 it is officially day one of term break, and i am back in school doing a project. it was thankful that i had enough rest over the weekend. something terrible happened today. i received a call from home, my mom misplaced the whole set of house keys. this is how it happened (skip to the next paragraph if you are too lazy to read): the postman drop us a letter which belongs to someone else living at the same block(on which level, i dont know). few nights before, my mom asked us to drop it unknown letter to it's rightful address, all of us ignored it. the next day, after grocery shopping, the pick up letters at our letterbox, then tried to fit into the rightful box, realising that the pigeon hole was locked, so she delivered the letter to it doorstep with all her groceries. (she rushed into the lift to avoid taking the same lift with the neighbour living opposite because we are not in very close/ good terms) after which, she went home but before that, she have a short chat with our friendlier neighbour, AH HA, that is when she realised she did not pluck the keys out of the letterbox! when she went down again, it was gone. she was certain that the neighbour staying opposite saw the set of keys, hoping that she has it with her, nah she was wrong, that auntie told my mom a long story and then claim that she didnt take the keys. the call was from home, i guess that means my mom is safe at home now. a few hours later, she called again. my dad came home and changed the locks already. so that means my house is safe too. they quarrel over this matter, over the fact that my mom sounded not all remorseful and blamed it partly onto the neighbour living opposite of us (i was pretty pissed off with that too, it is like always the case), which made my dad boils even more, he was so angry that my mom was too engrossed in delivering the letter and lost the keys. now that i am older, i listen to what both have to say, and try to ease the tension. i felt it was a good thing as a member of the family, arguments can tell others a person's mentality. from this matter, i learnt a few things. older people likes to have someone listening to them. neighbour can very be nasty (i cant help but to say, she could help prevent this) and be extremely careful with our valuables!

i love it so much, when i can laze around the whole day, sleep on my bed all day long or watch DVDs with my brother. SP is super nice, they allow their students to borrow DVDs home, while NP only allows students to watch them in school. was supposed to go sun-tanned at sentosa, but it was raining and weina is suffering from nose-bleeding. a bit of a bad omen to me, made me a little worried for her big day on wednesday. so i stayed at home, watched Elle Enchanted with joel, and i tell you, Anna Hathaway is such a good actresses, speaks clear english and great acting skills. i was appreciating the british accent many actors had in the show. i hate it when i feel there was something missing or left untold in the story, but there was nothing like those in this movie, it just has such a good storyline. excellent show, you all should go watch it! karen just text message me, and said she will be going to SANRIOLAND in toyko! irritating lah, i wanna go there so badly! HELLO KITTY, YOU WAIT!! i will save enough when i start working and i will meet you at toyko!! BON VOYAGE TO KAREN(TO JAPAN) AND WEI YANG(TO GENTING)!!
Sunday, December 14, 2008 finally decided to hand over my role as treasurer to karen, so i leave for attachment at peace, i went to her place to teach her all the procedures. i like the view from the entrance of the condo she stays at, about 10 metres above upper bukit timah road (correct me if im wrong), i see a very magnificance view of the bukit timah hill, something like at malaysia, you feel a sense of relaxation and peace- the power of nature. her elder sister shared her experiences as treasurer as we went through the procedures, while karen's second sister made us lunch and it smelled so great, the fragrance kept coming out of the kitchen and made me all hungry! had lunch with both her sisters, it was pleasant chatting while having lunch. her second sister super cute, kept offering me snacks like mochi, chocolates, a sweet-tooth like me totally cannot resist them! i always knew she was going overseas with her family, but i was only until then i realised, she is going to JAPAN for 10 days, to hokkaido and then tokyo! awww, poor karen for she is allergic to seafood. that may means she can only feast on salmon during her 7 days stay at hokkaido. (salmon was the only thing she aint allergic to) why not i go lah? i can eat anything with wings, legs or fins! XD BON VOYAGE! thank you, the shui sisters for the hospitality at your place! im super well-fed with food for sure! PS: i finally know what is a buttercup, it is chocolate with peanut-butter filling! buttercup is also a flower lah...
thank you weina who organised this gathering! in fact, many thanks to her to organise all gatherings for us! 7 out of 8 turned up, vivien was ill. a few of us had so significantly changes physically, especially the "twin", suat teng and jasmine. suat teng put weight, something she always wanted to do. jasmine finally had her dream came true. i could not recognise her at first sight! she is also still as skinny as before, even has a fairer skin tone. credits to weina for uploading those photos, (click link to view more photos) i just could not resist the convenience of picking them up from her blog.   from Left: myself, jasmine, suat teng, eileen, yan rong and weina.we had steamboat buffet, located near Daiso or you can say behind it. only $13.90++ per student! my second visit there, i super miss their fried bun and shrimp paste chicken!    we had our fill, and gossiping all the way!joel was very much concentrated in eating, while eileen and yan rong cracks some really dirty jokes, and weina even told us her experiences of being stalked. the way she verge her anger towards those idiot was classic, super hilarious! and of course, we never fail to end our day with some gorgeous photos!      i believe this gathering meant very much for weina.
Saturday, December 13, 2008 alright alright, i took a nap for about an hour and THANK GOD JIALU CALLED! revision went on pretty smoothly, although my attention was diverted sometimes. the theory part was way to dry, NO WAY i will remember it word-for-word. i would say, the paper was tougher. (the failures and on MCs will take this paper so i cant reveal much of it) the calculation-based questions was no problem for me, maybe just a little hiccups here and there. theory wise, i made a joke out of everything! for example, Benchmarking is a method to record every single activities in a production line. it is to ensure that the manufacturing team is able to trace back the activities so to identify the root of a problem and solve it. and the truth is, Benchmarking is the continual search for the most effective method of accomplishing a task, by comparing existing methods and performance levels with those of other organizations or with other subunits within the same organization. spot any similarities in both definitions? because i cant, shall bid goodbyes to this five marks question! oh yar, i am glad i ended hell was a smile.
Thursday, December 11, 2008 i was so tired when i reach home so i took a nap, so i can revise for my last paper later, but slept all the way to next morning. you know like the Laurier sanitary pad, "要睡到几点，就睡到几点"? (to sleep all you want) so i did a dreadful thing. when daddy brought breakfast so i have eat and have enough energy to do the test, and mummy asked me to pray to GYM for luck, having them seeing me off at the door, wishing me all the best. BUT deep down in me, i know, i aint heading to school but to the polyclinic for a MC. so much of lies, so much of sins. i guess im still a good girl because im felt so bad to lie. in this case, i rather lie to get a second chance than to fluck the paper again. it is 2.30pm now, my paper is tomorrow at 9.30 am and guess what? im feeling so sleepy again, felt like taking a short nap. if this goes on, i will be at the mercy of temptations. please tell me what i can do to fight against it..
Tuesday, December 9, 2008 it's 6.15am now, feeling darn terrible, remorseful. i should cursed myself for indulging in long hours of sleep. it is my favourite past time over the weekend, a habit that i cannot do without, and it is going to cost me a huge price. i jolly well knew my knowledge for the modules tested are very limited, yet i am procrastinating all these while- by sleeping. i am in the holiday mood already, darn it! getting a MC is not option to me, i will bear the consequences for my ill act. darn myself to remember that these tests are 20% of the overall grades. i am hoping so badly that whatever i learnt and understand at this point of time can really get me through! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! I SUPER NEED A MIRACLE! PS: i swear this is my last time whining about procrastination!

LMN: ivy sure come will come LeeWN: last time my girlfriend say she will come will come. in the end, on our wedding day, she didnt come... the whole class went HAHAHAHAHAHA! 2) dying of AIDS LeeWN: Yong Qie coming? WYJ: he's dying.. LeeWN: How come? WYJ: he kena AIDS. LeeWN: You passed it to him arh? WYJ: No lah.. it's FYH. FYH: HUH? LeeWN: Ohhh... ... ... XD ( you so darn gotta take a look at his cheeky smile! buay tahan sia!) it may sounds retarded to go for an hour's tutorial when travelling back and fro took up double the time, but this guy made it all worth it. mr LeeWN, you darn cool lah! HAHAHA!
Monday, December 1, 2008 i was totally wrong! mariah carey's version of always be my baby is very good! i was so so wrong. i got to hear it again just now, the mood of the song is so lifted up. it has to do with the strong beat of the song. so i will like to conclude that, the male version is more touching and wishes for his beloved to return, and the female's is more positive and anticipated her beloved to return. i still love both versions. music is a wonder! PS: nick is panicky over a 10% quiz. it is totally so-no-him! anyway, GOOD LUCK! PSS: GOOD LUCK to all who are having their exams/test this coming week.
