The holy matrimony of Edward & Elaine
today is my elder nephew's big day.
by the way, he is 30 of age and i am only 19.
this is how generation gap plays a trick in our lives.
OMG, just imagine his child would call me gu-po (meaning great-aunt),
that is an honour to me.

my family attended their matrimony at a church in Tampines,
thot it was sllightly against my principles.
i was so pissed off a few Christians at school and told myself not to enter a church.
i just felt it was not right, to enter someone else premises when you have a deep faith in your own religion.
furthermore, i always feel the guilt in me as i imagined myself moving a step closer then into a church.
    weird thinking.
then again, it is my nephew's big day!
there is only blessing for the newly wed and no obligation attached,
i walked in the church with ease at mind.

it is unlikely those church i seen on tv, there was no aisle.
    the hall was beautiful,
it looked more like an concert hall, my brother was totally amazed by the full equipped sound system.
he even took paper and pen to note down the arrangment of the system to prepare for his next performance.
my brother and i made a conclusion that grooms are more tense on their big day.
    the groom sweat non-stop!
same goes to his lecturer at his wedding weeks ago!
for some reasons, elaine could not fit the ring into edward's finger.
even the pastor made a joke of of it!
"what did you eat last night? your finger grew!
the lady is in a little over-sized checkered coat is Pastor Rachel Koh.
I really love this woman, very charismatic and jovial, a very good presenter.
she made the whole soleminzation so sweetly, so romantic.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
    Love never fails.
    (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a)
ALL THE BEST TO THE NEWLY WED. (:
